Terms of use

1. What Kervana does

Kervana is a budget app for people travelling in a campervan, motorhome or van: you log income and spending, see what your trips cost, set budget limits and work out a trip's cost before you leave. The guides and the trip cost calculator are open to everyone; the app itself needs an account.

2. Price

The core features are free. If we ever add a paid feature, we will show its price and terms clearly beforehand; you won't be charged unless you choose it.

3. Your account

• Kervana is not intended for anyone under 18.
• Open the account in your own name with your own email address, and don't share your password. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• If you think someone else has used your account, tell us straight away.

4. Your data

• The entries, notes, receipt photos and trips you add are yours.
• We use them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy policy. We show no ads and never sell your data.
• You can delete your account and all your data from the app at any time (Settings → Legal and support → Delete my account). Details: the Delete account page.

5. Calculations and guide information

Results in the app and the calculator (fuel economy, trip costs, budget status) are estimates based on the values you enter. Prices, taxes and rules in our guides are given with their sources as of the date shown and may change. None of this is financial, legal or tax advice; check an official source before an important decision.

6. Fair use

When using Kervana you agree not to:

• upload unlawful or harmful content, or content that infringes someone else's rights (for example in notes or photos);
• send automated requests that overload the service, or try to access other people's accounts or our systems without permission;
• use the service to mislead or defraud anyone.

If these rules are seriously broken we may suspend or close the account; where possible we will contact you first.

7. Availability

We work to keep Kervana running well, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If we decide to shut the service down completely, we will email you at least 30 days in advance.

8. Liability

Kervana is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from using or not being able to use the service (for example a missed opportunity, or a decision based on a data-entry mistake). Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the effective date at the top. If we make an important change, we will tell you in the app or by email.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules and courts of the country where you live still apply.
